How to create a ScanStation

  1. Copy and paste the FileDirector WinClient desktop shortcut:
  1. Then, on the new shortcut you pasted right click and go Properties

  1. Within the Target of the properties, you need to put /scanstation after " as shown below. For example, full details of path...Winclient.exe" /scanstation :

  1. Now when you launch WinClient from this new shortcut the user will get the scan tab. 

** This will only work if you have a concurrent scan license not a named one
