Dates checked in behind indexed date

If a user is indexing a document with a date e.g. 23/01/2014 but when it is checked in the date has changed to an earlier, or later date e.g. 23/01/2014 or 25/01/2014 check the time of the server, especially the timezone, if this is different to the user's computer the date discrepency will appear.
